STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS

1. Eligibility Conditions for appointment of the above mentioned posts:-           

            Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. from the HEC

recognized University/ Institution in the relevant field.

Experience

15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or Professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization OB

10 years Post-Ph.D. teaching research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International organization.

Minimum Number of Publications

The applicant must have 15 research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in the HEC recognized journals.

Incase No candidate meet the above mentioned requirement, then candidates who fulfill the following criteria will be considered.

Minimum Qualificatio PhD in the relevant field from an HBC recognized University Institution.

Experience

10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization

OR

5-years post-PhD teaching research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization

Minimum Number of Publications

The applicant must have 10 research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in the HEC recognized

Journals.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Upper age limit 55 years (relaxable by two years by the competent authority on recommendation of the Selection Board)
2. In the first instance, the candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down for the post of Professor by HBC would be considered and candidate selected from among them would be appointed as Director in BS-21.
3. In case, no candidate meets the requirements prescribed for the post of Professor, then, the candidates who fulfill the criteria set for the post of Associate Professor by HBC would be considered and the selected candidate would be appointed as Director in BS-20.
4. The appointment would be made for tenure of four years. If the selected candidate does not belong to the centre the appointment would be made either on deputation or on contract basis.
5. Candidates are required to provide following information in addition of filling online application form.

7. b) Number of Research publication (Mention Impact Factor/Category)/Books/Monographs Pants
8. c) Academic performance (No. of M.Phil/PhD Produced Awards Research grants/HBC best teacher award)
9. d) Post PhD Qualification
10. e) Administrative experience
11. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC
12. The candidates applying should submit an application along with the photocopies of testimonials research work/publications/photograph (1×1) certificate of any distinction etc., on the prescribed form.

& Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained.

9. The candidates should submit a separate list of attached documents with signature.
10. The candidates should mention the date of Notification Result and time period of the degree in the relevant column of prescribed form
11. Research publication shall be accepted as per prevailing HEC policy.
12. It is mandatory for candidates to deposit fee Rs.5000/-in any Branch of HBL or UBL
13. The fee must be deposited on the prescribed challan form to be generated on-line and original Receipt must be provided along with hard copy of application form.
14. No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque or any such instrument will be accepted as fee by the University.
15. Applications forms received without fee deposit receipts shall be rejected.

17. It must be noted that all posts will be filled according to the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training University of the Punjab criteria.
18. The hard copies of on-line application form, complete in all respect, should reach in the office of the Registrar (Human Resource Branch, Admin. Block, Room No.19), University of the Punjab Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, during office hours, within 6 days of the closing date of advertisement through registered post. No application shall be received by hand.
